Our friends at gNewSense have made available the long-awaited 3.0 "Parkes" release. Unlike previous releases which were based on Ubuntu, this release is based on Debian. It is a modified version of Debian 6.0 "Squeeze", the now oldstable Debian release.
gNewSense 3.0 comes with support for both x86[-64] and MIPS. MIPS is the type of CPU used on the Lemote Yeeloong, sometimes known as the "RMS computer". Head over to their website for the announcement and download links: http://www.gnewsense.org/#Main.2BAC8-News.News Andrew.
