I like you, man. You remind me that free software is created by an ethical  
community.

I volunteer at a local homeless outreach. Our leader/manager, a stay-at-home  
mom, was selected by Statistics Canada to have her and her family's habits  
heavily scrutinized for six months. She described how one day, on the phone  
with a Statistics Canada worker, she was asked "Do you work?" "Yes." "How  
many hours a week?" And so on until finally she was asked "Who is your  
employer?", and she finally had to confess that it was all volunteer work.  
The statistician had to start the survey over. She said to me "Why must we  
gain money from work for it to be valuable?"
