Since Trisquel is based off of Ubuntu, you can easily get updated software  
through Launchpad PPAs.

You can use the Y PPA Manager program from  
https://launchpad.net/~webupd8team/+archive/y-ppa-manager to easily search  
for programs offers by others. It is also a great tool to manage your  
existing PPAs and fix issues you may have like missing archive keys.
