I would suggest asking in #replicant on freenode irc as it may be a replicant  
bug.

However, from simply a smart-phone user perspective I would imagine your  
MicroSD may be going up; assuming you were installing the data to SDCard and  
not to the phones memory. Have you tested transferring with a different  
storage device?
