Terrible example: Qt is not, and has never been, distributed under a
permissive license. Today, it is distributed under the GNU LGPL 2.1 (before
that, between 2000 and 2009, the GNU GPL was used) and, for evil proprietary
software, under the Qt Commercial License. The former is copylefted (any
redistribution of the library must be under the same GNU LGPL 2.1 license).
The latter is proprietary.
