It seems to me that the developer of a free program is the only one who has  
disadvantages due to a permissive licence.
If he doesn't care - what's the problem with this kind of licence?
Someone can take it and make a proprietary version out of it, but the  
original free one still exists, and no one is forced to use the new one.
I don't see any problem with that.
I can't understand why anyone wants to release something under this licence,  
but if so - I would use it.
