Those games you can play on Windows 7 are non-free software. They are just as bad as any other non-free program. They spy on you, restrict you and don't allow you to share. Steam and Wine are in practice almost exclusively used for installing and running non-free software. In fact, Steam is non-free software.

"Piracy" in this context is a propaganda term, meant to deceive people into thinking that sharing is bad, like real piracy is.

The point of Trisquel which is a GNU system (not Linux), is to give people freedom. To compare GNU with non-free systems only in terms of features and convenience is missing the point.
