My hardware is:
Motherboard - ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. RAMPAGE IV EXTREME (LGA2011)

I installed Trisquel on my PC and everything looked good, then I used the
Synaptic Package Manager to install BOINC. I, then, rebooted.
Rebooting did not succeed. The GNOME Display Manager indicated "fail" during
boot up.
I've tried twice to install Trisquel and BOINC and twice the same result
occurred.
FYI - BOINC software works in this PC under Windows 7 Pro.
Is there a fix for getting the GNOME Display Manager to succeed under these
conditions?

I only speak/read English. These words are Asunto and Corpo. IMO, these
