Hey guys, I AM leaving Trisquel. But this time, is not even because of any fail of the OS at all. Let me explain.

OK, I had problems installing 7. It's my Mac's fault, because EFI sucks and whenever I try to load a CD it gets ejected. I could still have tried to boot the OS, but maybe it could have required me weeks, just like previously happened me with Antergos.

I agree with the philosophy behind the OS. I'll always defend free software for the benefit of all of us. I think free software is always better ethically and many times functionally than privative software, and Trisquel is the perfect way to avoid that nasty code.

But I can't stay forever in Trisquel. Why? Because I'll stick with Ubuntu. OK, I still have binary blobs (which I even doubt are used at all on my Mac). But everything else has been cleaned up. I don't even have to use Flash or MP3 anymore, as even VEVO is HTML5-compatible and all my music library is in OGG. So it's (more or less) like having a Trisquel instalation.

The advantage of Ubuntu is in its technologies. Unity 8, Qt5, Mir, convergency. That's all. I have ABSOLUTELY no problem with Trisquel. Is just that I love to code apps in new ways. So don't feel bad. Nobody is really losing anything at all with this move.

Thank you all, and keep up the good work! ^_^

P. S.: Trisquel 7 works smoothly with my Surface Pro 2, but needs A LOT of tweaking. And Wi-Fi/Bluetooth drivers for Marvell.
