Yes, I do realise that (which is why I wrote sorry - because of how rather
pointless the rest of the post was going to be :)
Anyway, install the your-freedom package and I reckon Arch can be used in
freedom.
And, personally, I count free 'clones' of big distros effectively as big as
(and pretty much almost exactly the same as otherwise) whatever was taken
from upstream (i.e. GnewSense=Debian 6, Trisquel= Its editions' respective
Ubuntu version upstream, Parabola=Arch, BLAG=whatever version of Fedora a
version of it is based on, etc)
So in my book Parabola and GnewSense are pretty big - not that I expect
anybody to agree with me on such a measure of a distro's size (though I still
think it's the most technically relevant way of doing so in terms of which
forum pages to search through to solve problems, which distro to enter in the
search engine when solving problems/finding out whether something is
supported, which Wiki and guides to read, whether a PPA can be used on a
particular edition of Trisquel, and more importantly what (versions of)
packages are in the repos, etc). For example, I install Parabola by reading
the Archwiki, solve problems in GnewSense by searching "XYZ problem debian
squeeze", and a Trisquel 7 problem by searching "ZAB problem ubuntu trusty",
and it seems to serve me well.
