I remember a few years ago when I first started taking the issue seriously I
had to collect bits of info on a large variety of websites - each aspect I
wanted to learn brought me on different webpages. Most certainly the website
that helped me a lot was eff.org. Those guys are great and their info is
great!
But many things related to the topic(sec/priv) I had to search around and
