It looks to me like Citrix is a company, not a program. Which program is it?

If it's something that allows her to access a desktop remotely, maybe she could use VNC? Depends on her employer's policy, too.

Running DOS programs in DOSBox still runs those programs' code, so if that code is proprietary, you're obviously running proprietary software.
