That would be hypocrisy. I experienced people on this forum who can't stand to use a small piece of non-free blob without a sharp critique, but they seems to be fine with using Windows in dual-boot on their computers. It's very hard to conform to all the Biblical laws, country laws, and ethical laws of free software at the same time, and there's no solution that would satisfy everyone. But I doesn't see any abysmal problem here. Even the FSF argues that using proprietary software to write a free replacement is OK, or Richard Stallman who doesn't refuse to use proprietary software when he's not using his own computers. The problem is in reliance. One-time usage is acceptable.

If someone is a free software extremist (a fitting term coined by "t3g"), it will never be satisfied. I shared this information for those people who struggle with proprietary gaming as they cannot find enjoyment with free software games.
