TOR is meant for browsing anonymously, but as they say during the download of the browser bundle - bad habits will breach that anonymity. Logging into your google/facebook/shopping over TOR is dangerous because: 1) Evil TOR Exit nodes that can SSL strip and read try and steal your credit card. 2) Provides a clear link to you specifically even though they might not know precisely which location you are coming from. Useful to keep tracking your unique metadata/analytics. 3) Credit Card providers will often flag purchases during the verification process if using TOR, since they check your IP during checkout.
