I don't know much about them, but, according, to the CPU manufactures web site; the spec's and other forums, I have read, they do enforce DRM policies with back doors. I'll advise you to research them thoroughly, before making a compulsory decision.

The website to do that is http://ark.intel.com and you neither want "Intel® vPro Technology" nor "Trusted Execution Technology". Those implement DRMs. Ideally you would not want "Intel ME" and "Intel AMT" but that is close to impossible nowadays.
