AMD (or "ATI") cards are compatible, sure, but they're crap. You won't get  
any 3-D acceleration with them, in particular.

I do wonder what kinds of CPUs they ship, though. If the Intel CPUs are  
somewhat recent, the AMD card added in would make the system worse, because  
the Intel integrated GPU would certainly be better.
