There is no "Bitcoin wallet running by default" but there is a Bitcoin wallet  
installed by default in the GNOME edition (not in Trisquel Mini and,  
obviously, not in the Netinstall). Because it does not run unless you launch  
it, that Bitcoin wallet only takes space on the disk, not in the RAM. 1142 kB  
(basically nothing) on the disk to be precise.
