Indeed. Installing "mate-desktop", removing the "trisquel" meta-package and
executing 'sudo apt-get autoremove' should do the trick. However, take at the
look at the list 'sudo apt-get autoremove' would remove before confirming
this removal. If there are packages you want, then install them explicitly
first. In this way, 'sudo apt-get autoremove' would not remove them.
