I am sorry, Chris, apologies.I don't mean to blame you (and other developers). When I complain here I actually love this distro very much and therefore like to promote it.
I manually removed those search engines from my desktop, but hence I would like to contribute to improve the Trisquel in a way that I am able to.
For instance I may help with translation stuff. Cheers mate!
