I'm working for an organisation that runs a Drupal 7 site and we have also  
been experiencing regular downtime. What version of Drupal does the Trisquel  
site use? If it's also Drupal 7, there may be a bug in Drupal core, or some  
module we both use.

It may be worth creating an issue on Drupal.org but my recent experience is  
that they are too busy to respond to issues. Perhaps because their attempts  
to get the Drupal 8 release out the door are taking up all their attention?
