You should self-test your disk from the upper-right button of the "Disks"  
utility in the "System settings". The support issues Linux-libre has are  
concentrated on Wifi and video cards. What we need is documented hardware.  
People here (including myself) usually do not stand for anything "open", a  
weak word that serves "open washing".
