Hi,
I've been testing e17 windows manager (enlightenment.org) included in the
Trisquel PPA, as it was recently recommended somewhere on this forum and it
sparked my curiosity.
_Question #1: connman front end_
I'm very impressed, but had a hard time installing e17's preferred network
manager, "connman."
I succeeded in installing "connman" itself. It uninstalled gnome network
manager and I had to configure it via command line with difficulty. However,
I cannot figure out how to enable the gadget/gui/applet for the desktop.
I've concluded I must install econnman, listed in the second table here:
https://www.enlightenment.org/download, under application. I would rather do
so from a ppa which includes this and other enlightenment related files.
Any help in this respect would be greatly appreciated.
Which brings me to the next question...
_Question #2: Moksha Desktop license status_
Bodhi Gnu/Linux forked e17 a while back and turned it into Moksha Desktop
(http://www.bodhilinux.com/moksha-desktop/). The project looks very
interesting but I have not been able to find information relating licenses
for "extra modules." Basically, I'm afraid to add this PPA and open the door
to proprietary software.
