[Trisquel-users] Problem with desktop background and items

Hi everybody,
since last week's wednesday i have a strange problem. Desktop background is  
black. I can switch it to whatever picture i have, but after restarting the  
computer it's black again. And the desktop files are always put in the same  
order. I can change the order, but after restarting they are like before.
What could have provoked this? There might have been a small update the day  
before it happened, but nothing else.
This is Trisquel mini.
