I love the sturdiness of Lenovo Thinkpads and have a few of them.
I recently purchased a Netgear WN111v2 N300 Wireless USB for five bucks that I intended to use with my TP 420, but it looks like a flop so I wanted to run this past the rest of you before I waste any more time on it. I installed the carl9170 (driver) on my desktop and it connects right up. It's already installed on the lappy but no go.
Is this a Lenovo thing or is there something else (easy and not too frustrating) that I could try?
