Thinkpenguin, libiquity (if usa) or minifree are all good for free software. (thinkpenguin though isn't as good imo as libreboot laptops
Although, I say this cause of durability possiblity to upgrade battery, security and above all else, full disk encryption is indeed an option, ;)
but also, thinkpenguin does have those new processors which aren't as secure... (Sadly)
