I was going to wait until tomorrow to post this announcement, but since
someone has already done something that involves the change, I've posted it
now:
https://savannah.nongnu.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=8558
Three things:
First, a small bugfix release of ReTux is now available. This should make it
possible to run ReTux if you don't have Tkinter installed.
Second, and this might sadden some people, I have decided to pull the demo
version. It's been almost a week since I released that version, and I don't
feel like it's generating any substantial interest. Plus, it's either a
maintenance burden or a stain on ReTux's reputation; for example, to avoid
leaving that Tkinter-related bug in the demo, I would have had to update it
the same time I updated the full release.
But third, I have decided that I am going to give gratis copies of ReTux to
anyone who announces that they are going to participate in the level making
competition before June 20. albertoefg is the first person to get this. I
hope this limited-time offer will encourage more people to participate and
make it possible for people who couldn't pay the normal $10 price to get
ReTux.
