Hello,
I have installed Trisquel-mini on my Intel Compute Stick. It has an Intel
Atom z3735f processor with Intel HD graphics and UEFI boot. I created the
live USB on a windows computer using rufus and specifying UEFI boot. I
installed from that live USB
I rebooted after the install with no problem.
I attempted to use the "Software Updater" but it failed, so I did apt-get
update and apt-get upgrade.
I then tried to reboot but was unsuccessful. I did not get any of the typical
boot / startup processes scrolling across the screen. Instead it went
straight to the desktop wallpaper, then the screen went blank. I turned the
computer off, turned it back on and the same thing happened.
I reinstalled Trisquel-mini and rebooted with no problem, this time did
apt-get dist-upgrade but again was unable to reboot.
Could it be because of the UEFI boot process? This PC does not offer legacy
boot.
