Flash has effectively been obseleted by HTML5. It will take a few years for  
all web developers to catch up, and all websites to transition, and a few  
will just never bother (obviously including unmaintained websites kept up for  
archival purposes). But most sites now have an HTML5 option, and there are  
HTML5 game engines being developed to replace Flash games eg
