I am sorry to write that but you should learn to write clearly, if you want
more help. Such a huge block of text is indigestible. Go to the point, be
precise, structure you text in paragraphs, write short sentences, etc. Those
are essential skills when what you write is code!
Also, you should not do anything without having a reason to do it:
zipping OpenDocuments makes no sense (the files do not get smaller because
OpenDocument files already are ZIP compressed),
TestDisk and PhotoRec respectively recover deleted partitions and deleted
files and, although your text is unclear, I am not under the impression you
face these issues,
you need no anti-virus either (on a GNU/Linux desktop system),
a VPN preserves you anonymity, what has nothing to do with viruses,
etc.
When a resource (here the CPU) is overused, see what process (simplifying,
what program) is using it. E.g., use the "Processes" tab of the "System
Monitor", in the "System Settings" (clicking on a column header orders it).
Buying a new computing will not solve your data problems. About your
software problems, does the Trisquel Live system work properly? If so, just
reinstall if you do not want to understand and fix the problems you face.
You keep on naming the whole system Linux. Linux only is its kernel. The
whole system is named GNU/Linux: https://www.gnu.org/gnu/linux-and-gnu.html
