On the subject of Skype, jitsi.meet sounds like a good idea until you realize
you need a really fast connection (optic fibre is recommended). However, some
Skype-Windows users have told me there’s no fluid stream either with
Skype. But it’s Skype, so who would dare to complaint or even dream of
complaining?
But the worst thing about Jisti.meet is this:

However, the good news is there’s another instance of Jitsi.meet that you
can use without any fear of being betrayed to Amazon: https://framatalk.org/
(server run by a nonprofit in France, open to anyone).
It’s easier for people than install Jitsi (that runs on Java,
unfortunately).
The problem is libre software isn’t enough with GAFAM everywhere (Google,
Amazon, etc.), you need to trust the servers you’re in touch with. As for
me, I don’t trust any CDN companies or CloudFlare, but I may be wrong.
