This happens occasionally, it's natural considering that everyone, by using email addresses provided by someone else (be it Hotmail, Gmail, OpenMailBox, Posteo, and so on) agrees to take the risk of experiencing downtimes. The case of OpenMailBox is natural *and must be expected* unless you self-host your email *or* use BitMessage.
What is not expected is: a bunch of people freaking out and leaving/cancelling their accounts in OpenMailBox just because it got some month of trouble.
