Might be a bit old indeed but it works really well. x264 1080p remuxes play  
just fine with mpv.
Hell, I even use my x200 on my 1920x1200 screen to watch movies (same GPU)  
and no issues.
Of course, if you try to throw 4k x265 stuff, you'll have a bad time. ;)
Even Mame and such works great with old 90's games. Great laptop.
