I think that the lack of libre EC on libreboot-supported thinkpads is a great  
shame, and I hope that swiftgeek well be successful in his work to liberate  
it.

There are some laptops (Rockchip ARM chromebooks) in Libreboot that have  
libre EC, but in return for lack of wifi or video acceleration.
