Heather, yes - the easiest option is to purchase GNU computers, and in so doing support the challenging efforts from the wonderful individuals developing free source products and services.

I wish to see free source thrive worldwide.
I use the phrase "free source" to counter the "open source" confusion.

Once my Trisquel laptop arrives I'll have a lot of learning to do to get it operationally assisting me seamlessly in the background as I continue my efforts on the internet. The applications I am currently testing on the Triquel ISO USB stick are very basic and lack many of the end-user friendly features I have made a habit of using. Such as downloading videos from the firefox browser; blocking advertisements; ... As I consider this, Keeping my home network free may be more challenging (and expensive) than I thought.
But I think the greatest value is in our freedom, which is priceless.
