I'm honestly not sure what prism-break is intended for. Here's everything you need to do to avoid being tracked:

1. Don't use a cell phone, or even own one.
2. Don't use any proprietary software. That means hardware which respects your freedom (see the FSF's "Respects Your Freedom" certification), and a 100% libre OS (see gnu.org/distros). 3. Use the Tor Browser Bundle for browsing the Web, in "High Security" mode, and never identify yourself. 4. For other Internet connectivity (such as email), use Tails. Tails can also be used for Web browsing if desired. Again, never identify yourself.
5. Keep all software you use up-to-date.

Really, that's it. All this other crap about what services to use and specifically what programs to use is bunk. If you're anonymous, it doesn't matter that you're using Google. If the software is libre and up-to-date, it doesn't matter if you use foo or bar. So much simpler than the mess presented at prism-break.
