Thanks for sharing about KDE. Has anyone filed a bug report about that concern?

I really don't know why it is necessary to stop akonadi every 6 minutes at all. On my system it is stopped:

Akonadi Control: stopped
Akonadi Server: stopped
Akonadi Server Search Support: available (Remote Search)
Available Agent Types:...


Also without any network application started I don't see any packets in tcpdump. So it doesn't look like KDE itself is breaking into user privacy. Feel free to correct me if I am missing something.
