Given that they just opened a "General Free Software Talk" board on this site  
I would say no. There are already a few forums, for example the FSF has a  
forum, although I believe you need to be a member to view it and it's not  
very active. It seems like this forum already has enough Free software  
supporters in general, so better not to splinter the community unless there  
is a significant reason.
