This happens on Trisquel 8.0 with Mate 1.12.1. (French)
The glitch happened when the folder was renamed by mistake in Caja (1.12.7). When the name was changed back to the original ("Documents") the folder remained without its specific icon and did not reappear in the shortcut list any more.
I have tried to do the same manipulation on other specific folders in the Home directory: they keep their properties (same specific icon, still appear in the shortcut list) whatever their name is changed to. The shortcut list updates the new name after reloading (F9 or closing and re-starting Caja).
How can I restore the Documents folder into its original state and behavior, other than fresh install?
