I use this: https://dns.watch/
it's based in Germany, so depending on where you are there may be some
latency, but
it is a free and uncensored dns resolver.
You just change the connection settings in Trisquel to use that as a DNS
Provider, and
that's problem solved !
Go to the Network icon in the panel.
Select Edit Connections.
Open the connection that you wish to modify, e. g. Wifi Connection.
Select the IPv4 tab.
Set the Method to Automatic (DHCP) addresses only.
In the DNS Servers field, enter a comma-separated list of your DNS
servers.
Click the Save button.
Do not edit your resolv.conf file!
(Then repeat for IPv6 if you want to).
