We can look into it now. If there is something we can do to better support AMD GPUs in Trisquel 9 using only free software then we should do it, and I don't have an AMD GPU so I can't do any testing or troubleshooting on my own. If your GPU works better with Debian main, see if you can determine what driver and what version of that driver it is using. Let me know if you need instructions on how to do this.
