Hello there,

I just registered here and I’m glad to be part of the Trisquel community. I come from PureOS with newer laptop, but I wanted a 100% free system so I switched to a T400s with Libreboot. After some struggles installing Parabola, I chose Trisquel. I thought it would be too ‘user friendly’ for me but I quite like it. Thanks for the brilliant job everyone. And I hope being able to contribute to this project.

So, as I installed Trisquel, I was tweaking here and there and stumbled across the /etc/apt/sources.list file. I noticed the following, which isn’t active:

# deb http://@SECURITYHOST@@SECURITYPATH@ flidas-security main

Is this useful? I’d like to delete it since I already have a flidas-security main mirror active as follows:

# See http://trisquel.info/wiki/ for how to upgrade to
# newer versions of the distribution.
deb http://fr.archive.trisquel.info/trisquel/ flidas main
deb-src http://fr.archive.trisquel.info/trisquel/ flidas main

deb http://fr.archive.trisquel.info/trisquel/ flidas-updates main
deb-src http://fr.archive.trisquel.info/trisquel/ flidas-updates main

deb http://fr.archive.trisquel.info/trisquel/ flidas-security main
deb-src http://fr.archive.trisquel.info/trisquel/ flidas-security main

# Uncomment this lines to enable the backports optional repository
# deb http://fr.archive.trisquel.info/trisquel/ flidas-backports main
# deb-src http://fr.archive.trisquel.info/trisquel/ flidas-backports main

Also, do the above mirrors support HTTPS? I’d like a confirmation before breaking things :)

Many thanks,
