At this rate, I’d have more chance to build from source directly, although
the first time I’d do it.
You do not have to.
https://github.com/Nitrokey/nitrokey-app/releases/download/v1.4/nitrokey-app-1.4.0-experimental.deb
can be installed on Trisquel 8: with GDebi (installed by default), double
clicking on the .deb proposes its installation.
Sorry for the French language.
I do not mind: I am French. :-)
If you precede a command with "LC_ALL=C " (notice the absence of spaces
around "=" but the space after "C"), it will usually use the default locale
(English). That even often works for graphical applications.
I’m going to ask directly Nitrokey since it’s not necessarily a Trisquel
issue.
It does not look normal that
https://launchpad.net/~nitrokey/+archive/ubuntu/nitrokey?field.series_filter=xenial
promises a package for "nitrokey-app" but does not host any. I would try to
contact the administrators of that PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~nitrokey/+members#active
How do you make a piece of code as a orange/yellow box in your replies like
you did?
With the "code" HTML tag. See https://trisquel.info/en/filter/tips or, if
you prefer French, https://trisquel.info/fr/filter/tips
