It failed another few times. I have tried to re-install Trisquel on the SSD  
but it did not boot neither. So I think even if I bought the new HDD,  
installing on it will fail.

Not if the problem comes from the SSD itself: test the hardware.  For  
instance with GNOME Disks.  The package, named "gnome-disk_utility" in  
Trisquel's repository, can be installed from a live system.  Select the disk  
in left-hand pane, "Smart Data & Self-Tests..." in the burger menu (the three  
stacked segments), click on the "Start Self-test" button and choose  
"Extended".
