There's a very complicated discussion about it that I can't understand on stackoverflow.com: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/2166540/how-can-i-fool-a-site-that-looks-at-the-javascript-object-navigator-to-see-tha

There's also a firefox extension called Blend In that claims to handle it, and gets decent reviews: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/blend-in/?src=search

There's several firefox add-ons under the generic name "user agent switcher". In my testing with fingerprint detection website DeviceInfo.me, only the Blend In add-on was able to truly fool the anti-spoofing techniques available to websites. Other "user agent switcher" add-ons were unable to truly fool DeviceInfo.me. Unfortunately, Blend In only gives one option as a user agent string - Win 10 with Firefox 78 - because the developers think that will blend you into the crowd the most.
