From my experience, Gmail is ultra picky about the connection amount, so if eg.
5 ppl. in the same household are all connected and everybody also has an
android smartphone or whatever, you'll easily get disconnected.
Same goes if you run trojita, akonadi & thunderbird concurrently etc.
