The patches are at [1], [2] and [3] IIRC, but the key point is that they
definitely need at least rebasing, and perhaps also some followup work in
order to get them merged. I suppose this is a job for someone who is
willing to work on C++ code; I'm not sure whether "just testing" the
patches would help at this point.
Anyway, Pali, the original author, is aware of this; we'll see if/when he
has some time to work on them. I'm sure that he wouldn't mind if somebody
else did the work, too.
