The Article is from Ivy33 August 1997. I search through the listing of
articles in old Ivy issues and found in the 90's a number of very
interesting articles that directly or indirectly related to TROM.
I obtained Ant Phillips permission to reprint them in the TROM-1 emails.

It's good to hear that you are finding ways to get symptoms out of the
way. How does transcendental meditation compare to timebreaking for
relieving restimulation? I have never tried it myself.

I suggest you not wait for your husband. TROM is essentially a solo
process and the need to help another work with you is a game.
I work with my wife doing exercises like riding bicycles and find it
requires that I not push as hard as I need to, to allow for her different
physique. It is not possible for both of us to push to the limit and arrive
at the same destination at the same time. So the ride ends up a social
instead of a physical training event.

Keep on TROMming

Thanks for that article Pete

Was it from a recent article in IVY?

So what Flemming is saying correlates with what Dennis has worked out in the
first few levels.

I am still trying to start Level 5. I was waiting to start it with my
husband but he NEVER has any time free when I am free. And I only have a
very short window of high brain attention available, first thing in the
morning, due to the Fibromyalgia brain fog.

Plus I have been using a TM-based meditation, called "Natural Stress
Relief", twice a day for the past couple of weeks (& it is wonderfully
effective yet so simple!).

But as the meditation seems to be clearing out the fog, I am feeling I may
be able to add some TROM work too.

I'll let you know how I go ...
