Well put Pete.

To add my two cents to Mike's question, which is a good one:

I don't think TROM clashes with being a Christian or with Christianity...or
with any other religion, for that matter.
(Unless you're a Scientologist with the Church of Scientology. Don't think
they'd approve...LOL)
There is no worshipping of any kind in TROM, nor is there idolatry (which would
clash with Judaism, for instance) or the practice of religious rituals. There
is mereley a series of practical exercises one does, plus some underlying
theory to enable you to do the exercises. Denis mentions a few things about the
origins and the makeup of the universe and how we got to be in it. But that's
not really pertinent and absolutely essential to doing the exercises. If he
hadn't mentioned it TROM would still work.

As Pete put it, it is a psychotherapy. There are lots of Christians and people
of other faiths who undergo psychotherapy. No big deal. As an example, I heard
that there are many Jews in the US who do meditation and Yoga. Various
synagogues have even modified their services to make room for these new trends.
There are Christians who do Yoga and meditation, too.

I myself was baptised in the Eastern Orthodox Church. TROM poses no problem for
me. But then again, I was never a true believer to begin with. Religion, to me,
involves 'organisation' and 'subscribing' to a belief, idea or dogma. TROM
involves none of these. There is no organisation (as in a network of churches
and communities), and Denis stated that it is not a requirement to believe in
the data in order for the exercises to work. So TROM does not include
(subscribing to a) 'belief' and it does not include 'organisation'. Hence, it's
not a religion or a religious practice. So I don't think it would be a problem
for you or any other Christian to do TROM. TROM and religion - apples and
oranges. Two different things.

As you progress through the levels you will learn more about yourself as a
spiritual being. What you will discover may strengthen you in your belief, or
it may shatter it. It's hard to tell. Whatever you'll discover about yourself,
God and the universe, it won't be because Denis said so. It will be your
personal discovery. Your truth. In TROM you work primarily with your mind. It
does not involve looking for things outside of it (and outside of you).

Well, that's my two cents... :-)

Take care,

Harry
