At that point I spent over 5hrs trying to get a nut for a tubular hose into its socket. I was having to do it blind and in very restrictive quarters. I was so frustrated, I thought and thought about just having the car towed to a garage and have them do it. I had in mind the premier garage in Modesto, Kruz-Lucas. They only work on Jags, Porsches, BMWs, Rolls, etc.
Then guess what happens. The following day a guy drops by to see my house mate and offers to help. He gets it all complete in about 30 minutes. Turns out he was a 27yr veteran at Kruz-Lucas. How about that! He didn't want to get paid even. I finally got him to quote a price and then I doubled it. I paid $20.
