Me> Yes, I understand what is going on in new age thinking very well, re
adding layers. I did not imply that I was into new age stuff and adding
new age stuff to TROM.

I was into some new age stuff in the 70s, 80s and 90s.

I could not find any answers in new age stuff, so I actually gave up
looking.

Until I learned about Dianetics from a TV commercial in 97. Then I began
to understand what is wrong with the mind.

Me> Yes. I know that well.

My point for bringing up "affirmations" was for using an idea or practice
of comparable magnitude. That is part of or in alignment with the formula
for understanding.

Me> Well than what is the purpose of RIs then?

The problem with most 'new age' remedies is that they keep 'adding' stuff,

Me> Again, you are over running the new age idea.

If the idea that there are only two things in this universe is true; that
is life and postulates, then you need to "place in" some postulates on
top of or into "life" somewhere, in order to make life work.

And it is my thinking that is the whole idea behind RIs.

RIs are meant to replace the removed "undesirable postulates" that have
been removed.

And it is my thinking that the idea of affirmations are pretty much the
same idea.

David
